| Pinkston To Visit Seton Hall Next Weekend... then decide to commit or wait until fall, per zagsblog and a couple of folks around the Seton Hall program I talked to earlier this morning. |

| "A nice recruiting roll"? It never ceases to amaze how some here will compliment someone for the same thing they would crucify Pearl for. Seton Hall's recruiting has been pretty weak and, were it UT's, there would be people up in arms. I can't imagine Pinkston would want to go to Seton Hall unless he's enamoured with playing in front of 30 people in the Meadowlands and finishing in 13th place in the Big East.
If it does come down to Villanova for us, I like the fact that he didn't go to the Villanova madness and, yet, came to UT for an unofficial. |

If they reach the 'AAs and get some positive momentum or fall apart and replace Norm with a high profile coach, they'd be better positioned than they are now. |

We have two four star guards, one who's a borderline top 25 player in the country. Unless you think recruiting for this year is finished (which, yes, would be a problem), I don't see how someone could be disatisfied with Golden and McRae, two really nice players. |

However, recruiting is a funny animal, you can't really assess it until the end. We could get nothing in the fall and get three nice players in the spring, you never know. |

The quality of those replacements is what will determine the success of this class. I could see a JUCO if we don't get the New York boys, especially considering the Negedu situation. |
