It did work for the softball and baseball teams. But come on guys. What did you need? A refresher course? It's all football and ball bearings in fall!

Well said. We do become too obsessed with football in the south. Basketball has suffered because of it. I'm definitely a Pearl fan. I'll take 20 wins and a six pack every year. I had forgotten we competed in basketball till he showed up in Knoxville. It is a winter sport though.

Hat.....Did Kennedy talk about Reginald Buckner any ??.....How is he progressing and is he going to compete for playing time ??

I didn't specifically ask about him because they haven't been practicing long enough. That said, I'm quite confident Buckner will get significant minutes.

I saw him play the last two years in the state tournaments..He is big time talent...

Did Pearl ever seriously try to recruit Buckner or Terrico White ??
