| Dang, guess he has his mind made up where he thinks Pinkston should go. I dont get why he thinks the way he does though. Sure hope Pinkston is not listening to him... |

Sure hope Pinkston is not listening to him... | I took a stab in the dark and checked Kimani Youngs background. He went to college at UTEP, played under Don Haskins. I was looking for a Villanova/Jay Wright tie, but did not see any. Hat, do you know of any such relationship?
The guy is from New York, and it was stated that he was heavily into the recruiting game at one time. Villanova is a great scool. Sucks for UT though. Depends on how much stock the young man puts in Young. |

The only guys left with real ties to the Bear would be Floyd, Gillispie, and Tony Barbee. Coach Haskins never came to the East Coast to play very often, so there's no natural connection. Wright is a Massimino protege.

| Maybe he will go somewhere else so it won't be as if Kimani made the decision for him. Maybe..... |

| If Bruce can have a solid year and make it to the elite 8 he should be able to recruit quite nicely this year i wouldnt be worried we should see how the season plays out first.

| There won't be many guys left to get by the Spring, but we've had decent players fall into Bruce's lap late in the process before. |

When the man who is currently affiliated with Pinkstons AAU team, and has a great relationship with the kid from the beginning verbally endorses Villanova over UT, thats maybe something to worry about. Its a discussion board, so why not talk about it.
And I'm not sure why the thread title is wrong. |
