Why not? Pretty much 100% of UK fans were supportive of Pitino when he left them for a bigger, higher paying job.

He supports the second rate school in the state that desperately hates the parent school and feels that basketball is the one avenue in which they do. Unfortunately, they also have the distinction of being the only program to have two Final Fours vacated. My deepest sympathies.

No, the Kentucky fans I know view Pitino like a hot ex-wife who left them; they pretend they hate her while she's sleeping with the neighbor, but they'd take her back in an instant if she'd let them.

I seem to recall some fairly widespread rumors about the possibility when Billy G. and his napkin were dismissed. Where do you think they were spawned?
