i agree with timmy3 i was looking foward to seeing negadu because he shoots freethrows great plus he is as strong as any player ive ever saw wear orange in basketball and can jump like a frog i was expecting him to move into the starting lineup in jp princes position,i believe he would have averaged 13 pts or better and 7 or 8 rebs and 2 or 3 blocks ,but with him out i agree with ronbntennessee chism has improved every year and he will average around 18 pts and 10 rebs ,but also looking foreard to see how improved scotty will be and a;soour tandom at pg of maze and goins, and hoping that kenny hall makes a big splash as a freashmen and gets freshmen all sec and skyler mcbee come in off bench and becomes a tennessee version of lee humpfry or what ever his name is and knocks down some key 3 pointers ,it be nice for a walk on to break ut record for 3 pointers made in season

I agree. I want to see Wayne become a tough guard on the low post. It will make us much more potent offensively.

I want to see Goins. I think he's more of a key than people realize. Not in terms of playmaking, scoring or being a prime player, but in terms of the defensive arrangement. Our glaring defensive weakness permeated from the PG position last year and had a trickle down effect. If he can shore up the penetration issues that hurt us last year, then our defense will be greatly improved. Chism and Smith are pretty much known quantities and Hopson I know will be better, possibly all-conference, but the defensive pressure from the point of attack will be goal #1 from my perspective. We shore up that position and everyone is, basically, able to move down a ledger to more natural and beneficial defensive positions.
