If we can't beat NC State out for Cothron, how in the heck are we going to beat out the Big East schools for Pinkston and Harris?.. sad times..

it's not always about beating out via beauty contest. Quirky happenings and thoughts drive recruiting competitions as much as anything. Oddball world is recruiting.

He apparently gets by on that NBA coaching experience. I guess recruits don't care that he was terrible.

A bit dramatic aren't we? Wrong as well. Everybody loses out on recruits, even UNC and Cal.

I was never that excited about Cothron and it never seemed to me that we were really hard on him, at least not as much as Pinkston and Harris. Usually, going to a lot of high schools is a red flag. Harris is still the prize and Pinkston would be a better get than Cothron.

I still have no idea how Lowe gets these guys, him and Leonard Hamilton. Some of you try and argue Pearl hasn't done anything and these two jokers are getting guys like Singleton without doing jack in the regular or post season.

I'm not saying we will land Harris, but the fact that we are able to get a top 5 player in the nation is a great step in the right direction that gives us a good chance to be in there with everyone else for his commitment.
