Evidently he isn't. There isn't really an argument about whether Lofton should or shouldn't be in the NBA. He isn't. The reasons why have been spelled out pretty well.
He's an undersized, underquicked 2-guard without a particularly good handle. He can flat put it in the basket if and when he can find a shot. That hasn't equalled enough for him to break through, and he is going to have a tough time ever getting some GM to give up a roster spot at the end of the bench better used on a project, a defensive specialist, or a big banger that can occasionally eat fouls and minutes.
