Imagine needing 2 to tie 3 to win final seconds with Allen, Sheed, Lofton, and Pierce in the game. How do you not score?

Celtics really need some bench help, Lofton has at least a decent shot at making the roster.

And don't forget about Eddie House, he can drain 3s with the best of them.

He only played 3 mins today and was 1-2 from 3-point line.

It'd take alot of players fouled out to have Lofton in the game at that moment.

Yeah, I suppose so. But Lofton could be an important piece of an NBA team sometime soon.

I'd love to have his name up there, but you've got to think that lineup looks a little more like
Rondo
Allen
Pierce
Garnett
Perkins

About as much of a chance as Crompton being an important piece of an NFL team sometime soon

Sheed will more than likely come off the bench. Perkins plays great D and they need Sheed's offense with the 2nd team

I'd actually go with that, I forgot about Sheed being ther now. We're talking about last seconds of a game, and if you have the ball down 2, you'd definitely have Sheed out there.

Come on. IMO Lofton would have been drafted if he hadn't had cancer his senior season.

Chris Lofton would be in the exact same situation had he left after his junior year or in any other scenario. He is not an NBA player

Lofton will probably not contribute much to an NBA team, but he will make an NBA roster before it's all said and done. It doesn't take much to fill out an NBA roster. It wouldn't surprise me to see the C's keep Lofton and release JR Giddens.
