| 95% of Vol fans have no problem with McBee.

As with most of my comments about the basketball program these days, I hope I am dead wrong and the kid is All SEC | I agree that no one should think that McBee is going to step in and start dominating the SEC. In my original post, I was simply noting that he was quicker and defended better than I thought he would prior to actually seeing him. He can serve a purpose for UT as a shooter; however, I certainly don't see an All-SEC performer in him. I just think he was better than what I thought prior to seeing him in action. |

Total crap.
I believe most would know him as Stephon Marbury, and not by his clothing brand name of Starbury.

I guess everyone can't be as awesome as me. | I'd say most people on here have a sense of humor, including me, but if you are going to tell jokes, at least make them funny. Regurgitating the sarcastic spew of attacks on UT basketball, it's players, and coaches gets old. |

Posted via VolNation Mobile | Speaking of nonsense, why don't you actually point out the part of his post that doesn't make sense or is uneducated. He said that the kid turned down a scholly (true), is a good shooter (true), and is respected by his teammates (true). I'm all for attacking idiotic posts, but blind attacks on Griff because you don't like him linking to his blogs is ridiculous. |

From what I can tell, this is another "Bradshaw" type situation. Everyone wants to root for the hometown boy, regardless of his true abilities. However, due to their high-hopes, they are somewhat blinded to his true potential and caliber of play.
Skylar will see some playing time, but I agree with the 4.9% Emainvol quoted. I'll be rooting for him, but I doubt he will be an All Sec performer.
This is what I refer to as "The Rudy Syndrome"

I play basketball competitively only every other week and I didnt have the money to buy another $100 pair after my old ones busted and I havent had a problem with them. They were made for inner city kids that couldnt afford regular ones anyways not for people like you |

I play 2-3 times a week. The shoes held up, but they were NOT comfortable. I had blisters from wearing them. I realize they were made for inner city kids, but they sold them at the local Steve and Barry's so I figured I'd give em a try.
I also do not buy the $100+ shoes. But I will also not pay $14 for a pair anymore.
Again - Not trying to offend anyone. Just voicing my thoughts on em. I think its actually pretty cool that while he gets a bad rap on the NBA Stage, he makes sure the less fortunate youth have a name-brand type shoes. He doesn't take advantage of his Star-Power and charge ridiculous amounts of money for an average pair of shoes.

This is what I refer to as "The Rudy Syndrome" | His ceiling is probably Terrence Oglesby with slightly better defense, because no one can possibly play defense any worse than Terrence Oglesby. |

I thought it was because she was a woman.
