hoops Texas Roadhaouse n UT Basketball promotion

4 tics and 4 Texas Roadhouse entrees 4 60 dollars. LSU,Miss ST and Georgia games for Vols games. Also several Lady Vols games-3 I believe. Looks like a great deal if I lived in Ktown. It was sent in the big orange newsletter I receive.

No deal that puts money in Phillip Fulmer's pockets is a good deal.

All I know about Texas Roadhouse is that they gave unlimited free steak samples before one of the games last season. No smokey dogs were bought by any of our group.

I actually find their food decent, as that concept of restaurant goes. Better than Logan's, but not as good as Longhorn.

From what I understand, the guys took thee fresh, affordable food concept from places like Outback and decided to create faux Texas rather than faux-Australia.

Either way, I'd eat Texas Roadhouse or Outback 5 times week over RubyTuesday, Applebees, TGIFridays, Chilis etc.

If that was their intent, they executed it pretty well.

Not sure why it took near bankruptcy for places like Ruby Tuesday to understand most people would rather eat fresh food than frozen, precooked poor quality microwave dinners.
