Good points. Last year when we had Jajuan, I never concerned myself with our halfcourt defense or offense. Because we turned them over...we *always* turned them over. It seemed like no matter how well we were playing overall, we would be able to pull together 1-2 small spurts per game(steal, dunk; steal, 3pt; steal, dunk) that ended up being game changing.
This year's team doesn't have the spurtability of last year's team, and so the halfcourt execution becomes crucial. And from what I've seen this year, it just doesn't seem like our halfcourt offense is a well-oiled machine. I'm just wondering if the system doesn't fit the personnel as well as it did last year. And, even though I love me some BP, I'm wondering how good he is at tailoring his system year in and year out to match the strengths of his personnel.
