TG-Os Georgia Tech post game report

Maybe I'll call it TGO's bullet point observations instead.

• Fouls. Too damn many committed. Refs blow way to much. Nobody wants to watch a free throw contest. That Villanova game would have been much more fun to watch had the refs not called so many needless ticky tack early (and then stopped blowing their whistle late).

• Walker helped. That foul on the 3-pointer just before halftime marred his contribution.

• Xander. Looks more confident and has a stronger grip. He's not getting the ball knocked out his his grasp like was happening the last two years. He can still be more aggressive on offense. This is just his 5th year of organized basketball.

• Schofield. Hopefully he's being disrupted by his shoulder injury and it heals up real quick.

• Need some help with post offense when Williams and Schofield sit. Pons has the athleticism. Johnson can cut through the paint. Pons just needs experience. Johnson needs to relax and have fun. JJ looks stressed out when he gets on the court.

• Walker. Freshman. He'll be a major contributor a year or two out. Good to see him come in late and not go all Peterman.

• Bone. Missed 2 late free throws. Had a late foul (probably a phantom call by the refs).

• Daniel. I thought that this season was on Schofield's shoulders. If TN has an epic year, Daniel is probably the guy that needs to really be a weapon.

• Before getting too giddy... GA Tech didn't have their entire roster at full speed.

We won 4 games away and neutral all season last year.
We've already won 3.
Got a good feelin bout this team.

Done gave you a like, ThunderGood--you dont know how much that hurt. Anyway. CRB is the perfect example of taking kids that are good players and making them into a great team. Before it's over, he will go down as a great Volunteer coach--and he deserves it!!

Wait and see.
