This is the 2nd straight season under Barnes that the team has totally collapsed into an embarrassing maelstrom of despondency and failure.

So sick of people trying to make this basketball holocaust seem somehow more palatable because gee whiz..."nobody predicted us to do anything this year". Pfft.

This cataclysmic free fall from a place of hope and expectation of somehow (gulp) achieving something...gawd forbid....went to the wayside in dramatically disastrous and humiliating fashion.

So let's give Barnes a trophy for living down to the low expectations of the pre-season pundits shall we. "Nobody expected us to be good" after all. Maybe instead of "Give your all for Tennessee today" as the locker room credo...it can be replaced by the new accepted mantra "Hey..nobody expects you guys to achieve...so don't worry about it".

Fans need to get to a point where they consciously recognize that a team can be losing and (a) be getting outplayed (b) not be playing very well (c) aren't very good.

All fans seem to have an arrogance that if they were "playing hard", they'd be winning.

Well, you can be playing hard and with effort and get beat. Sometimes, even look bad.

Because you are losing, it doesn't mean "you quit"
