This could be in the "around the NCAA." But since it has to do with Tennessee basketball (fall sports) I figured it would fit well in here. Vol's are at the bottom of the standings at #113

I know that this isn't good no matter what method is used.....

But, what is the method they used to arrive at this ranking. As an example, Tennessee finished ahead of Georgia in football, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. How are they 42 spots behind Georgia?

Teams get points for how specific programs finished. UT lacks a mens soccer team. Obviously not a field hockey/water polo school. Cross Country hasn't won anything in over a decade. Womens volleyball also not that good.

Imo, kind of a dumb ranking. Not all programs across the nation even have similar programs and sports.

I wouldn't say zero. But ROI certainly does not seem to be faring well. Although, this metric distorts the view of what success looks like to most fans. Our weights would heavily favor FB, then BB, WBB, then baseball, then the rest. I would assume.
