Q: What's different about this program compared to others you've been a part of?

A: The thing I would say about this program, that I haven't been a part of (in other programs), is the work ethic. That's a reason why I think he's been so successful, Coach Barnes has, because of how much time he puts in his players, how much he gives to these players. He's in the gym with them, he's teaching them. And I think that creates the reason why he's making these guys that shouldn't be NBA players into NBA players. It's the reason why. Because he works so hard.

Not sure but his last 10 years at Texas, only 3 guys that were not 4 or 5 Star ranked went to the NBA. The 3 were Top 150 3 Star's so it's not like they were some out of nowhere player or ranked 200-300. Barnes doesn't recruit those type of players, well..... except here.

Durant was a pro way before Barnes came along. Did Barnes improve him? Yes, a little.

I've not been that happy with Rick Barnes but he is a good coach. The offense should be fun to watch.
