@Vol_Hoops: Our complete schedule will be released at 7 ET tonight on "SEC Now" on the @SECNetwork. Also check University of Tennessee for full coverage.

I wouldn't typically start a thread for this, but times are slow and may provide some good discussion and predictions going forward, looking forward to the release.

Better than most threads here for sure. Plenty appropriate

What are the criteria for how many times we get scheduled against SEC teams?

Example: we play Vandy and Florida twice every year, guaranteed, right?

It'll be 6:00 where I am, so I can start my celebratory drinking an hour earlier than most.:beerf:

Got UK twice.

edit: didn't know that was our permanent rival. When did this change?

Key notes:
-Second game of the year is at Georgia Tech, we must be ready and early.

-First 3 SEC games are at home, with Auburn being the opener.

-Big 12/SEC challenge is at the end of January, in the middle of SEC play (I like that).

-We have 4 OOC AWAY games, @Georgia Tech, @Gonzaga (in Seattle), @Butler, @TCU

-We have NO BIG games coming to Knoxville. Very disappointing.

I feel like 8-5 OOC and 9-9 SEC for a combined record of 17-14 as a very real possibility of Turner is cleared, and I feel that's not being a homer. I think it 2 games either direction at most, 15-16 as the floor, 19-12 as the ceiling.

Anyone else think we can go 9-4 OOC? (Losses to GT, Zags, Butler, and TCU)

GT was 12-19 last season, that's a very winnable game IMO. Honestly it's one of those early games that could give hope, lose it and it's likely a very long season, win it and you've got some hope. Could realistically be 6-0 heading into a Barclay's championship game.

I see you are picking 5 OOC losses. Who do you feel they will be to? Hopefully, our guys can pick up the new system quickly.

Gonzaga, Cincinnati/Nebraska and Butler are very likely losses

Georgia Tech, George Washington and TCU are all decent teams who we likely don't sweep

And then there's usually that game that you don't expect or predict to lose but end up losing in OOC

I would say 7-9 conference wins but I certainly agree turner is a huge piece of the puzzle. I think he might be worth as many a 2 extra wins. If he isn't cleared I don't see this team being 500
