Wishing I could be there. Won't get back to TBA until we play Kentucky. I'll be wearing my TN shirt and yelling...Go Vols!:cheer:

I don't know what Alabama has this year, but if the roster resembles those through the years I fully expect that TN's post defenders are going to get pounded on. Maybe wouldn't be to TN's disadvantage for the refs to call a tight one... especially in the paint.

Bama is the second worst 3 pt shooting team in conference. and they shoot a lot of them.
They rely on points in the paint.
Donnie's D should give them a run for their money.
Oh and keep them off the foul line.

These are the types of teams zone defenses were built for. Pack it in, force contested jump shots and hit the glass. If UT can be fairly efficient on the offensive end I think they have a great shot at 2-0 in the SEC.

last couple of games we've had glimpses of some actual half court offense. Hope it keeps coming.
Better than 60% of made shots coming off of assists.
Would be much higher if our young studs would start landing those bunnies.

I would love to see some more plays for Baulkman. He's shooting incredibly well right now and if he could get to double digits consistently it would take a lot of pressure of Josh and open it up some for the inside guys.

The higher that stat the more efficient the offense. IMO I know rebounding and other factors might skew the efficiency #, but I love watching teams with a high assist #. Thats why I have such a hard time watching the NBA. Too much 1 on1. jmo

Dang, I thought we could get a little help. Oh well, we just have to play and press a full 40 mins! Go Vols!:clapping:

Trust me. UT will get it's fair share of calls on Saturday. There will still be a head scratcher here or there but for the most part the home team gets the calls in the SEC. It probably won't be as heavily slanted as that crap at The Hump was on Wednesday though.

It was pretty bad, for sure. Had they been able to score from the charity stripe, it might have been a much tighter game.

Can't wait to see how he develops when he's 100% healthy next season. Would also like to see donnie run some plays for him.

Yeah. Even as a ref you can only do so much. Lol. They can't put it in the hoop for you.

This team gives total effort every game and needs to be supported. I'm proud of Coach Tyndall and this team.

If I was shooting over 50% from 3pt range with a busted up shoulder I think I might put off surgery indefinitely. Never mess with your mojo.

What would really help the "homecooking" is filling Thompson Boling Arena with VolNation. Keep winning and they will come. Witness the "ORANGE" Taxslayer Bowl!
