This is the final game of a four-game holiday homestand for Tennessee.

Tennessee is shooting .436 (24-of-55) from 3-point range during its three-game win streak.

The Volunteers are 6-0 this season when they hold opponents to fewer than 60 points.

Tennessee owns a +5.7 turnover margin at home (10.3 to 16.0).

UT owns a 5-1 record this month.

Robert Hubbs III is averaging 10.0 points and 3.5 rebounds off the bench over UT's last two games.

Josh Richardson leads the SEC in minutes played (35.2 mpg) and ranks second in the league in steals (2.2 spg).

In Saturday's win over Tennessee State, Kevin Punter was 4-for-4 from 3-point range and had a season-high-tying 18 points. He also had four steals.

Preserve the Vols' unblemished home record this season.

Make Tennessee 89-16 all-time against current members of the Southern Conference.

Give Donnie Tyndall an 8-1 head coaching record against Southern Conference teams.

Make Tyndall 30-16 as a Division I head coach against teams from the state of Tennessee.

A win would make us 8-4, and that looks pretty good for CDT and the boys after all the chaos that went on this offseason. Honestly, tennessee is winning the games it should win, which is more than we can say of tennessee in a while, we usually lost to a stupid team or 2 before SEC play that hurt our ncaa bid. But we've only lost to solid teams so far that we weren't favoured to beat and even snuck an upset against Baylor. I'm liking the looks of things so far. If we win tomorrow, we could pick up some scary momentum going into SEC play.

Id say if Baulkman and Hubbs could combine for somewhere between 17-20 pts a game, i think we could become pretty competitive towards the end of the season. As long as we keep hustling and work on our 3 pt D, we might be a pretty dangerous late game team to play.

We need to go man to man for teams like this. Not sure why we are being Cuonzo Martin stubborn with this.
