Having watched McKnight the last two years here at FGCU, I just don't see him starting at TN. I think he'd be good off the bench for 6-8 points, 5 boards, and a block. He's an athletic kid, but will get pushed around a lot down low due to his thin frame.

The question is who do you see starting over him at Tennessee?

Good question. I know McGhee was coming to FGCU before CDT and staff swooped in and got him at the last minute, but the staff here thought a lot of him. I'm not saying Eric is awful, I just don't know that he's a starter in the SEC.

I definitely don't know, but I don't see a better option for the starting spot as of now IMO.

He may not have a choice. We will only have 2 guys over 6'8" on the roster. He and Owens. Carmichael and Mcghee are 6'8" and slim. Couple that with the fact he has 4 years in college basketball and it will be hard for those other guys to start over him.

He may not be ideal for SEC ball, but he still may have to play 25 minutes a game.

Richardson at 19 ppg would make him the highest scorer we've had since Lofton. Doubt that happens, but who knows. Someone has to score.
