Barton will play tomorrow but not announced as the starter for tomorrow's game. Coach Martin said Barton would be the clear cut starter if he had been heathy.

Maymon is full go, but Coach Martin wants to "ease him in after all the time off". He said to start the season, Maymon will get approximately 20 minutes a game.

Yea weird wording from Martin....says Barton would be the starter if healthy, but will play? If he's healthy enough to play is he not healthy enough to start?

I think he's trying to hide his hand a bit, think Barton starts and is fine, jmo.

Would be a tough test to throw Thompson into.

How 'bout this deal, coach:

play Maymon 30+ minutes tomorrow night...and let him make short cameo appearances in our next 3 'contests' ::cough:::.

“@patrickbrownTFP: Cuonzo says Darius Thompson will start but Antonio Barton will play in tomorrow's opener at Xavier. Vols about to leave for Cincinnati.”
