Think we beat Memphis and get UK once. This team is going to be very good.

Also, Vanderbilt won't be nearly as good this year.

what about a second game with Florida, USCjr and Mizzou? Why do you have us playing Bama and Ole Miss twice?

I bielieve that we win v. Georgetown, Memphis @ Arky,@ATm and Missouri. Depends on who we play in PR, Lose @ Ky
Best case 27-3 worse case 24-6. Either way I can see us in the Sweet 16

I see us somewhere between 22-26 games...anymore I'd be shocked, and any less would be a dissapointment IMO.

The key will be starting the season off right this year, do that and the schedule sets up nicely for a good strong start.

Feel the same way, I've been thinking all along that this team should win at least 21+ & be a Sweet 16 team. The schedule is hard, that could be a good thing & bad. Good thing b/c the team will be tested a lot this season, bad b/c I really hope it doesn't wear us down toward the end of the season.

I really think we could battle for the top seed in the SEC.

Personally i dont think it's that hard. Besides a potential matchup with Nc State in puerto Rico, and Memphis at home, we should be favored in all our other OOC games.

Oh I agree, but we don't have as many "cupcakes" that we might usually have. A lot of our OOC games are against good teams, & teams that are in or always battling for a NCAAT berth.

Yeah, it's a much more "balanced" schedule than other years. Very solid RPI teams, and a few potential "good win" games as well.

We have far more talent than does Georgetown, so I would reverse that L. Wichita will be tough at home, but I think we get that done as well. Memphis should be very tough, and of UK will be also. Florida has also reloaded and should be pretty tough, so I'm kinda glad that we only play them once.

It's always very difficult to do season predictions. In every year it seems that we beat a couple were aren't favored to beat and lose a couple we were supposed to win. Then if you were to predict some of these you may get some crazy responses. Love seeing these threads though. I do see us with no less than 22 wins and a fairly deep tourney run. The tournament is so difficult to predict too and depends on the match ups along the way.

Regardless, it is a very exciting year for Vols hoops. We have a nice nucleus of players and some serious upside to look forward to. Thompson Boling should be rocking this season. I get the feeling to that Jarnell will make that leap into being an exceptional big man in the country and someone that demands All-American attention. Its getting harder and harder to wait for this season to start!

Georgetown should be much tougher than Wichita game...they've lost ALOT.
