I would definitely have the parents send highlight tape. My son is also from a small TN town and his coach has done some things for him but we made DVD's of his highlights and sent out to many schools. If the college sport site does not have a recruiting questionnaire the school will probably send one out to complete. We have had some come in lately and just started sending the DVDs recently.

Plays for the Celtics. If the kid can play he is sure to get noticed there.

I was at a game of his last year. He isn't extremely polished but he has surprisingly good touch on his jumpers and has a reasonably good feel for the ball for his size and age. The thing that impressed me the most was he didn't seem to completely rely on his size. He looks like someone has been working with him with his back to the basket and he uses his moves pretty well. He could use a little more aggressiveness but I liked what I saw and I thought he should be getting some attention.

I don't think you have to worry about the kid. Just a quick google search showed that he just started playing AAU ball, his stock is expected to rise, and he plays with the ATL Celtics. Not sure if your familiar with the AAU circuit but that's a really good program to be involved with. (Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, Randolph Morris, Travis Outlaw, Josh Smith, Dewayne Day, Andrew Goudelock)...pretty soon they'll be knocking on his door.

That's why I wish we would get in on him NOW. His mom is my wife's best friend. She was with my wife when we met.

Trae Golden, Jordan McRae, Tatum (<--I think)

I think Kenny played for a different team.
