I think chalmers is a great for for Miami, and has really progressed his game. Growing up with the big 3 has really benefited him.

Chalmers started getting some recognition late in the season. I think he's a fine PG for Miami. Not sure if I could see Watson fitting in, but who knows...

It's harder to gel with those 3 than people realize, and to know when to look for your scoring, it's a fine line. Chalmers has it figured out perfect now, and outside of adding a guy like Allen, and maybe a big I wouldn't touch that roster.

I agree on the big because if the Nets land Howard and resign Williams. Wow gonna be a east slugfest for the next few years.

I agree on the Rondo thing. CJ going to Boston would mean a lot of riding the bench.

They indeed could. They are looking at Fisher and If I'm not mistaken, they make about the same (well what OKC paid him).

The Nets are going to be dangerous next year. I can't imagine what would have happend if they would have actually signed Kidd along with Williams. I expected them to be a package deal but with the way the chips fell, Kidd is gonna resign with the Mavs.

lol yah. I was really shocked to see Kidd go to the Knicks. No way anyone seen that coming. The beautiful thing about Kidd is he realizes how old he is and is playing it smart. He wants to take a step back and play some backup in a smaller light. I don't see New York not matching Houstans offer for Lin but stranger things have happend. (Nash going to the Lakers maybe lol)

So I'm guessing Fisher to Brooklyn?

K. This is official. He's now an unrestricted free agent. Best of luck to him and I really hope he lands somewhere.

Actually, he's not an unrestricted free agent. The bulls just didn't guarantee his contract. Watson will now enter the waiver pool out of which teams can claim him.

CJ Watson is a quality back-up point guard and there will always be a role for him in the league. He is NOT starter material though and thinking so will only let you down.

He's not better than anyone's starter. That's the reality of it. The idea that he is better than Chalmers is delusional. Chalmers just got finished winning the NBA championship.

Who said he's one of the top 30 PGs and/or better than Chalmers?

What's the difference? I figured if they didn't claim him than he's free to go to whoever signs him? Just termonology or are they only certain teams that can sign him. Sorry for being clueless but I don't see the difference.

Not saying Watson is better than Chalmers either, but having a ring doesn't make you a better player. Doesn't Steve Kerr have about 5 rings?
