| The "Leader" discussion Ok, so how bout a "Who will be UT's leader?" for old times' sake? I'm looking at Golden. Even though he's only a junior, I think he will take charge this season. If I were Martin, that's what I'd be coaching. Trae has the potential to be a great NCAA PG by his senior year. We've seen what he's capable of, but he just needs a stronger grip on the reins of his game.
Who will be UT's leader this season? Will we even see a leader emerge? |

| By a long shot maymon. He is keeping guys in line, even while they're away from campus. Checking in on guys like stokes while in brazil or guys like McRae while back home in Knoxville. He has been far and away the biggest and most vocal leader so far this off season. |

| I honesty think the team would be in trouble if Golden were to try and take the "leader" role from Maymon |

| A team can have more than one leader. I think Golden and Maymon will both do what is necessary to keep this team focused on their goals. |

Maymon seems to be the more vocal leader. Golden leads by example. I'd say McRae is the emotional leader actually.

| I'm very confident that Golden will be great this year, I'm just not convinced that he can be a leader yet. |

| I agree there could be multiple leaders on this year's team. CCM's mentoring has improved the maturity of this team compared to some (not all) in recent years. If Stokes plays well, as expected, and Golden improves, I see both of those guys joining Maymon as leaders. |
