If the offense is running correctly, stokes and Maymon will be getting ALOT of shots.

I did a breakdown a few months ago of our shot distribution, I wish I had it. It really showed how guard heavy it was, it needs to almost completely flip flop.

I don't disagree with you it's just wierd to see the measurements change at the pre-draft combines for some guys.

He has been measured by NBA standards or whatever they use, and that's what he measured. This isn't a Tennessee measurement, it was at the LBJ camp iirc.

I don't know. But my WISH would be for him to be a first rounder. Late pick. By my Heat! Boom! He could practice with Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers, Battier... wow.. not that unrealistic either!

There is always a place in the NBA for 6ft8 muscular guys who can move other bigs off the blocks. It seems to me his athleticism is somewhat limited but he is soo strong and can pass the ball well too. I think if he could drop his body fat % by several more degrees while maintaining his weight around 260 with mostly muscle and get in tip top shape then we will see just how good he can be. He definitely has some nice post moves but seems a step slow to me when you look at NBA potential at this point in time.

Its not like nobody has ever retuned to school. The biggest thing will probably be where is he projected. If he's guaranteed lottery pick(top 14 iirc) then hell probably go. If he's not guaranteed a lottery pick, then the salary situation is much different and I could definitely see him returning ad trying to solidify his spot in the lottery picks for the following years draft.

And then there's also the, what does next years team look like factor. If we make it to say the sweet 16 this year, returning most everyone, plus add his good friend Nichols, he may be intrigued to return one more year to see what the team can do.

As it relates to Sullinger's injury / draft stock, I heard yesterday that he wasn't given an invite to the draft in NYC. Might mean there's a possibility that he slips out of the first round. I don't see how a team could pass on him if he's still there in the later part of the first round, but it's looking like there's a chance.

I think he'll play 2 1/2 seasons.
Smart kid and a lot will depend on how the team performs this year and the 013 recruiting class.
A TN kid and wouldn't it be a legend maker to take TN to its first final 4.

Yea that's what I was eluding to. If I'm Miami I pray he falls to me much like how Blair fell. I think sully drops to the 15-20 range though.

With Sullinger not being invited to the draft green room (meaning he's not expected in the top 15 now) wonder if this could cause Stokes to consider not coming back if he has a great season this year.. I know Sullinger has had back concerns and is the reason for his fall, but you never know.

Someone could be getting a huge steal in Sullinger - but maybe the injury concerns are real even though his camp dismisses them. Either way once you are out of the lottery guys are hit and miss anyway so I would definitely take the kid.
