| | Senior Member | Well, I think this years class will be directly related to how well we play on the court this year. We have a steller year and the recruits will come. If we stumble to start the year with a few of the tough OOC games and don't take care of business when we get to the SEC, flame out in the tourney at the end of the year then I think the top recruits look elsewhere. If Stokes can get somewhere in the AA category, and decide to go pro will will open the flood gates. Just my opinion. |

As a UT fan, short term, I would like to see him stay at least one more year. However, like you pointed out, him going pro and showing recruits that Martin can get guys to the NBA would be beneficial long term. |

Just my opinion. | A few of these guys will be committing either before the season starts, or before it really gets going, so our season won't have an impact on some of these guys. |

| Top 25 for sure but top 10 doubtful.
Have to land at least one 5 star if you're going by rivals ratings to get a top 10 and I don't see any on the hopefuls list bto put up.
Correct me if wrong. |

Correct me if wrong. | I go by scout, I just think they're better for basketball IMO...
With that said jw3 and Thornwell are both 5*.
Also, 3 of the top 10 on scout team rankings don't have a single 5* committed. And going by rivals, 2 of their top 10 teams don't have a 5* either, so it is possible to be a top 10 class without a 5*.
With that said, it obviously is much easier if you sign a 5* to get that higher ranking. If you don't sign a 5*, you have to basically sign all top 80 guys and Atleast 4 or 5 of them.

| In order to get a Top 10 ranking, I think Tennessee would have to land one of either JWIII or Thornwell. A class of Nichols, Newkirk, Hubbs, and Crawford would be great, but I seriously doubt it would be Top 10. |
