I just don't see it and until I do I will stick with McBee gets 20 mins a game.
And, I don't know how you can honestly talk about Josh R, who shot a whopping 24% 3pt last year to be in the 35%-39% range. If he does then fine, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen. | I don't expect it from Reese so let me clarify that. Chievous, I admitted I hadn't seen any of so I just didn't know what to expect, just assumed that if he redshirted there was a reason. Started heading rumblings that the redshirt was predetermined and had nothing to do with his ability, and that actually he most likely would've played over josh. After watching Q, reading quotes from CCM, and reading Quinn's piece on him, I now see exactly what others were talking about.
As far as josh, if it's true that he's been working on it then who knows. The key will be can he make a high % of open set shots that come off kick outs from the post if, if he can that's fine. His stroke in the AIA games appeared improved, same for the RTL games, and Quinn is reporting the same from practice.
As far as great gains being so unrealistic, golden went from 18% last year to 39% this year.

Anyway, yeah you never said Reese it was Edwards I was trying to bring up. Comparing Golden's Freshman year to Richardson's is apples to oranges. Golden was shell shocked and his confidence was gone 10 games into the season. His performance this year was what Golden is capable of. His jump was a product of regaining confidence in himself. Much like Maymon's overall improvement in one season. For Richardson to improve that much it would have to be an improvement in his form, which while he might improve, I don't see jumping 10%+. |

If he can hit those at a high % that's fine, we don't need him taking tough contested pull up threes. It will be essential though, no matter who's put there, that they can hit the kickout three scrim the posts on a consistent basis. |

I just am more of a "believe it when I see it" guy and the only two players on the current roster that are proven shooters are McBee and Golden. |

I can't wait for the Italy trip, good competition and we should learn a lot more about some of these guys progression, or lack there of. |

| Revisiting this post some workouts, some reports from practice and the RTL...
Golden 30/ Moore 10
McRae 25/ Richardson 15
Edwards 25/ Q 15
Maymon 30/ stokes 10
Stokes 20/ hall 20
This is JMO, not a favorite not having skylar I'm sure, but JMO. Skylar as yemi will see minutes, it just won't be consistent, each will probably average 5-10, it'll just vary by night though, and some games may not see much time at all. I will say if Moore isn't ready, josh gets backup PG minutes, and skylar slides to the backup 2, and Moore sees very few minutes.
Italy can't come soon enough. |

| I think it's possible to see Richardson get some minutes at the point. Not every game or anything, but he may be a good option at times. |

| I still got this:
PG Golden 30/Moore 10
SG McRae 25/McBee 15/
SF Edwards 25/Richardson 15
PF Maymon 30/Hall 10
C Stokes 30/Hall 10
Yemi plays in foul trouble situations.

Word out of practice so far is Moore is good, but is disappointing at backup PG, looking much more like a 2 at this point. If that's the case then I feel good about my Richardson prediction as he has been the only other guy getting PG work this summer.
Everything else is pretty self explanatory, everyone knows my feelings on D'montre, and jordy. |

Hell if I know. I think one of those guys will get the SF minutes, not sure who.
