| I'll agree with those who Maymon probably won't stick. He's undersized - probably shorter than his listed 6'7' - and he's not a great leaper. He's a below the rim player who already struggles to finish against bigger post players. He's at his best slashing to the basket, but he's not a great ball handler.
He's a nice college player, and I love watching him in orange, but unless he develops a 3 and/or really grows into a tough guy/defensive stopper off the bench, I doubt he'll last long in the NBA. |

| I can't imagine him sniffing the 1st round.
Mid 2nd to undrafted, IMO |

| I'm sorry, but right now I see Maymon's game translating into a player no one has mentioned. Undersized post, tough nosed defender, limited offensive game... Any guesses?
Kendrick Perkins... Similar height, frame, and defensive tenacity. Anyone expecting Maymon to be drafted for any offensive reason outside of his ability to finish with both hands and bang on the offensive glass is fooling themselves. That being said, there is most definitely a niche for what he gives in the NBA without question IMO. |

| Anyone know how tall Glen "Big Baby" Davis is? I think that's his name. He is the shortest playing big man I've ever seen. If Maymon could develop a shot like him, I could see late first or early second. |

Plus as you said, Davis has a much better shot than maymon did last we knew.
The best comparison size and game I can come up with us dejaun Blair. He measured 6' 6 1/2" at the draft with shoes and 277lbs, that's pretty close to exactly what maymon would measure. Their games are very similar and the success Blair has had may actually help maymons draft stock. With a good year I see Kate 1st early 2nd, and by good year I mean 13+ppg 10+rbd

| Dejuam Blair and Chuck Hayes are the best comparisons to what Maymon can be in the NBA |

Paul Millsap and Carl Landry are two other undersized guys who play power forward. Don't think his offensive game is as refined or he's as good of an athlete though. |

You can take all of Chism's "weaknesses" and subtract 2 inches of height and you get Maymon. Maymon might have a better handle but that would be it. | I guess u didnt watch a lot of UT basketball last year... |

Plus you may be forgetting all of the constant bone headed decisions Chism was good for on a regular basis. |
