Or am I missing something. Which is absolutely possible btw.
No. For one there's no longer east/west apparently, but what they've discussed is you play everybody once, and then I guess rotate the other 5 additional games.

You do realize that so far his classes have been better than what Pearl had put together

Whoa...I wouldn't go that far.

Pearls 2nd class was ranked 10th in country.

Pearls second class was top ten.....granted some players didn't perform as we hoped but it definitely gave the fans confidence we were headed in the right direction.....this is a very important recruiting class for cuonzo or we could take a huge step back as a program.

The program has already taken a step back, do you mean even further back than what they were last year?

I know u feel coach zo took over a program in horrible shape......I do not agree with that sentiment and do not feel we are that far away from where we were unless recruiting does not pick up this season.

So is that why no major big name coach wasn't knocking to come here after Pearl screwed up.

That really has nothing to do with what I'm saying. The program had become a top 20 program, NCAA mainstay, and usually winning atleast 1 game. The last 2 years we haven't been ranked, barely made the tourney once, and got blown out in that effort.

So when i say that the program has taken a step back I'm not only putting it on CCM, its a combo of the last 2 years. When you look at it the program has taken a step backwards already, so that was my question.

If CCM doesn't land a great class, do you see Tennessee taking ANOTHER step back?

I don't think we have taken a step back yet.....Pearls last season would have been much better in my opinion if not for the distraction Pearl caused with his lying....A slightly worse season by Zo is not necessarily a step back either. we lost our two stars from the team...system change ....and young players in new roles.

After this season though, it is very much possible that we will be without Any post player besides Yemi.....no player besides Stokes looks as good or better than any starter we already had....I hold out hope for some of them to possibly develop though.

if he doesn't sign a good class this year then yes I feel 2013 could be dismal on the hill.

Every college loses player, and some(most) face distractions, it's part of the game. The fact is the last 2 years haven't been as productive as the previous 5(?). I don't care how it's spun, the program has taken a small step back. As i said, tennessee had become a program thought of as a top 20 program and solid NCAA mainstay, they're no longer thought of that highly. Therefore, they've taken a step backwards, not a huge one, but the program has definitely taken a step back.

Ok. I Just was curious where you stand.

I wasn't really talking about wins and losses....you could also say Kentucky takes a small step back if they don't win the championship next yr.....I am referring to the talent on the team. I feel it will be a huge step back if he does not have a good recruiting class this....I really don't feel national perception of our program is that poor.

Just a guess but the major big name coaches already have really good jobs and unless they had ties to Tennessee weren't coming here.

Seriously UK? No don't think so. Their perception is top program that will compete every year. Saying if they don't win the championship next year that this perception changes is insane.

I didn't say the perception of the program is poor, that's your call. I said the perception has declined. 2 years ago we were thought of as a annual top 20 program, would you still say that? Nobody outside of Knoxville would.

You originally said were going to take a step back, as I've said, we've already taken a step back in the last 2 years.

So all I was saying was, will we take another step back in your opinion, that's all?
