Maybe I was asleep when this was mentioned somewhere on here before. Is it just me or is this relatively new information? Does anyone know when this injury occurred? Could it explain why Miller didn't play as much down the stretch, or was this an off-season thing?

It was announced awhile ago, same time as maymon surgery and trae injury, about a month now I guess. They didn't say when the injury occurred, but I'm guessing it was a surgery to relieve pain and wasn't hampering him from seeing the court late in the year.

That article says he was "sidelined" with a knee injury. but it doesn't mention surgery for Miller, only Maymon. Or am I missing it?

No it doesn't but it was reported around the same time as that. Maybe twitter...

Martin said rising senior forward Dwight Miller is on schedule in his recovery from the April 5 knee surgery to repair a torn patella tendon. Miller is expected to be sidelined another six to eight weeks.

it must have been twitter that i heard it, because i heard about the surgery it seemed around a month ago right around the same time as maymon. i guess that article is just the first time it was published by govolsxtra.
