I'm sure there was no offer, but I'm guessing he was told he'd have the chance to earn one. Stanton probably took it as there was a good chance, and now he's realizing he's not gonna get one. | |

And like i said, to a kid that this is his dream school when he heard there's a chance, he probably heard he's gettin one.
I'm sure there was some miscommunication, but CLEARLY Stanton was under the impression he was going to be getting a scholarship. | |

| I know his family in Springfield and I know they though he was getting a scholarship. I don't know what kind of scorer he was going to be, but he could have certainly been good for ball possession and assists. |
