Won't have to wait as long this year.
10 extra practices starting in late July. |

10 extra practices starting in late July. | The NCAA adopted a new rule since the most Vols' overseas excursion, August of 2007 — to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria — as incoming freshmen were not allowed on such trips at the time.
The only returning UT player not eligible to make this trip is walk-on point guard Cory Stanton.
Stanton enrolled at UT at midterm after beginning his collegiate career on scholarship at Clemson in 2010 before transferring to Lipscomb last fall, triggering an NCAA stipulation relating to Division I transfer's eligibility for four-year exemption trips. |

New recruits and transfers didn't go in 2007, but neither did any walk ons.
Smith was under scholly by then, I'm sure. |

Jmo but that's another dumb NCAA rule. He has been at UT now over 6 months and yet an incoming freshman who hasn't attended a class will be allowed to go and he wont.
Just dumb IMO.

Just dumb IMO. | He's not eligible to play at the start of the season like the others is the reason as I understand it. |

Stanton has been here going to class and getting good grades. Yet he can't go on this trip but incoming freshman who've yet to take a class at UT can? Not right IMO.
All members of the team, if in good academic standing, should be allowed to go IMO. |

The purpose of the trip is so each student athlete gets to go overseas once in their 4 years on campus. |

How about the rule be if you're a transfer and have gone before then you can't go again. You get 1 euro trip in your college career.
Say Dwight miller went in one of his 2 years while at Pitt(he may have). Now because he went juco for a year he's going to get to go again. Kinda defeats the purpose of that rule. So Stanton should've just gone juco for last year instead of sitting out a year...
Actually why didn't he and why don't more? You're gonna sit the year out in d1, why not transfer to juco for a year and get to play? Then pick a school? |

| Fabyon averaging 26mpg 10ppg while shooting 40% from the field and 42% from three.
While I think Moore has potential, I preferred taking Fabyon over Moore at the time...now that it's played out I definitely still think that.
Fabyon would be our backup PG no doubt when trae needed a breather, and would do a great job. He also would get good minutes at the 2, and his 3 point shooting is something Skylar isn't bringing at the 2. Also, he's quick as lightning, playing him at the 2 but allowing him to guard quick PGs would benefit Golden. |

Has this guy signed somewhere, or would he be eligible to move up to a four year school with this signing class? We still looking at him? |

He was JUCO last year and we were looking at him and had offered, but when Moore committed we rescinded our offer to him. |

| Sheesh. I'm about over signing these projects at PG or trying to covert a high school wing into a PG. |

| Worst decision CCM has made since stepping on campus, taking Moore over Fabyon. |
