I'm telling you, Yeguete is our toughest player and him going down for the season could have been the nail in the coffin. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't think we really have a chance to make the NCAA tournament unless we win the entire conference tourney and get that automatic bid...I think it would be best for this team to go to the NIT and maybe make a run to the final 4 in NY...Going to the big dance would be very short-lived, and an NIT run would give the kids a taste and CMM could use that as good motivation for next season

This team isn't guaranteed a first round nit win.

We will e playing a road game in the first round of nit.

If we play NCAA its neutral court. You never I repeat NEVER take nit over ncaa

SoCar game is almost over and UT is at An RPI of 102. See what kind of jump we get

Edit: Right before end of game they dropped to 103.

First update after the game UT at 92. So a 11 point jump for beating SoCar on the road.

it goes by seeding, not how many fans you draw.

Probably be more like a +15 +15 which would put us at 60.
I'm hoping we do it , but i think we'll split at best.

Zans said that Vandy would be +8 max...

Your the RPI expert though calban, your thoughts?

A Vandy win at home would move the needle from 12-15 positions.
Since the last 2 teams we play are above us in RPI (significantly) the more the needle moves on a win.
Look at the results from yesterday, Home wins for Ole Miss and Georgia.
Our results would be similar.
Incidently, we're currently 5th SEC on Ken Pom.

That was my thought process. Heading into the sec tourney at 60-65RPI and the 2/3 seed things get very real very quick.
