but apparently nobody in the country thinks that the Vols are in the mix for any of them.Apparently Hubbs is going to Duke or the gators or Memphis, or Candy
And Nichols a Duke lock because they are his dream offer and he is a lifelong fan of Duke and Newkirk to an acc school only .Ihate how when people talk about these kids that they none respect the Vols enough to expect a good player will go to UT. |

| Scout had a story on Newkirk's visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend, which quoted him saying he wanted to visit Tennessee and Xavier before making a Fall decision. He said he was open, but it seemed pretty clear those were the finalists unless one of the big boys comes calling. Quote:

Then again one of those 2, probably Poole could easily play the 2 as a combo guard.
IMO Newkirk is one of the most important guys were after, get a good PG with a year to learn behind senior golden and you're in good hands. | |

| Rob Lewis is saying if we sign Newkirk landry is gone, or any PG were still recruiting for that matter. Said were bringing in one PG. | |

| That has been my thought since we've still been pursuing other PGs since Landry's commitment. We have too many pieces we need to fill and not so many scholarships to do it with. There was no way we bring in 2 true PGs in this class. | |
