Here's the Quote the OP was referring to :

Freshman wall?: UT forward Jarnell Stokes said his two early fouls at Alabama were "dumb," and he indicated he would do some soul-searching after his eight-point, eight-rebound outing.

"I'm not as aggressive as I was," said Stokes, who has scored in double figures in just one of his past five games. "I'm not making the plays I was early on; I've got to figure it out."

I think he just doesn't waste time leaping when a quick release or another option is the best way to get the ball in the bucket. Too many players gather themselves to try and leap, which allows the D to get up and defend.

He got up pretty well on that one handed dunk last week.

he was WAY up there on that dunk coming down the lane at home vs SC that he got fouled on and missed. that would have been a poster.

He has had his elbow above the rim a few times going up for dunks, and he is usually a forearm above the person challenging him for a rebound. IDK what the heck you are talking about... lol

Witch Doctor look for a great end of the season for him and this team, can you imagine 1 summer on the weights like Maymon did last year? Witch Doctor say he will be scary next year.

I agree, he is already in beast mode. Once he trims down a little and adds a lil more muscle... Chuck Norris and Rod Wilks will cower before him

Don't have a link. Sorry. Just made me smile when I heard about it. Kid could be special.
He is finding his way and adjusting to the speed of the game at the college level. You bounce it one time in the paint and those quick hands are always poking it away. It's good he has such a tremendous attitude and he's going to be a good contagion for all to catch.
