It's crazy how much hubbs may rise. A 3* not even top 100 to 5* top 10 were talking, that'd be an insane leap. He definitely has the potential to do it though.

Alot of that had to do with the obscurity of Dyer County. He first got noticed last summer in AAU. Then he busted on the scene with a 42 point performance in a holiday tournament against a very strong team out of Florida. Then his showing at the Penny Classic got alot of attention as well.

Oh I agree 100% I'm just saying I don't remember someone being so talented and hyped being a 3* their junior year, it's just crazy how much this kid will rise his senior year.

Let's hope Landry rises that much too!

Nice!!! We can hope.

Well no I knew they won't play in east tn unless it's some sort I tournament maybe, but I was just curious the closest they may come.

I'm wanting to make a few trips to see these guys play. Obviously the close the drive the better.

I'll check it out when I get home to the computer, and relay for anyone interested. Arby's classic is usually early in the year right, so it already passed? Guess I could go to state and watch a lot of these teams?

A far as this year goes Murfreesboro is the closest possibility. However, with the other teams in that area the teams in that Region it is unlikely that they make it to state this year but, who knows?

yea thats what i saw. very surprising is hs team is only a little above .500, usually a hs team with a player like him is good. i suppose playing in memphis, you match up against teams with pretty good players. im hoping some memphis teams make it to murfeesboro so i can make the trip and see a few of these guys in one place.

I can tell you that the qualifying game,(sectionals) will be huge too. Ridgeway, Southwind and Dyer County should be major players in this. You will be hard pressed to go anywhere in the country and see two public schools with any better athletes than you will see, if DC plays either SW or Ridgeway. Remember should it setup this way only 2 of the teams can make it.

Agreed. Memphis and Chicago are the top 2 IMO
