Shaka wasn't eligible because he is 50% white. That rules out the minority part.

Not only did he win this highly exclusionary award but apparently he was also a finalist for the middling college team coach award.

It's accurate to say we have a coach that rises to the tip top of several very small and selective pools of peers.
