Just saw that ESPN added us to his list of schools. #11 forward in the country, and rivals has his a top 100 player. Was heavily considering Missouri State. Was a Missouri favorite till Anderson left. Here's a breakdown of his game:

"Porter brings great length and skill to the forward position. He has a deadly mid range game and can make teammates better with his passing and willingness to share the ball. He has a great nose for the ball and along with his length allows him to get deflections and steals on a regular basis. Porter height, length and skill is what makes him a special player."

I think Richardson is a more likely than Otto.

Get Richardson and Otto, and keep Kevin Ware and Chris Jones on board. That'd be one hell of a recruiting class (considering how things were looking once Bruce was fired).

Tennessee will jump up the charts like a new song in regards to interest levels by recruits in the next 2-3 weeks because of this hire. Whether or not it works out for him at UT, we'll see. The recover from ncaa problems, turmoil with the team and fans, etc has begun and UT's rep and image is back on the rise for the first time in awhile. Basketball penalties really won't affect CM too much, imo.

Would love to get another big to add to this class. We will definitely need one regardless if Tobias stays or leaves for the NBA.

Bringing in Porter and Richardson would be really nice. This team is getting more and more athletic, which is nice to see.

Porter and Richardson would be huge additions to our roster, but we need to make sure we land Ware and Jones first.

Otto Porter comes from SEMO basketball royalty. His dad, Otto Sr. was an outstanding ballplayer at Scott County Central (perennial 1A basketball champs/contenders) and then at SEMO. He has been recruited by Missouri, Missouri State, Kansas, Georgetown, et. al. It is not a stretch that his dad would relate to Cuonzo Martin, although, I think his cousin transfered from Missouri State to SEMO, not sure why. If Martin can reel him in, it would be huge. He is unselfish, can play the 2, 3, 4 and probably the 5 if you asked him to. If Tobias stays and Otto Porter comes to UT, things would be looking hellafine.

per ESPN...

Weaknesses:
He needs to improve his jump shot out to the stripe. He needs to work on his three point shot

...sounds like our usual shooting guard.

I'm pretty sure thats wrong. Everything thats been said about this kid would indicate he is a very talented shooter.
