Looks pretty good to me. Melvin should be on the all defensive team. Also, not sure why they have to cheapen an all-sec honor by selecting 8 players on each team.

edit: Just saw that Parsons is player of the year. Absolute garbage.

I think Melvin should have been on the defensive team as well, but everything else I couldn't argue with.

In my opinion, POY was Jenkins' to lose. He didn't do anything against UT or UK, which is what cost him.

Scotty was in the discussion, wouldn't give it to him based on our record though. Jenkins should've been it.

The joke is people mentioning hopson considering all the hopson sucks type threads this season

Don't quote my post and then say that. You won't find a single post of mine saying Hopson should have been POY. With that said, if you think Parsons was the best player in the SEC this year, you're the joke.

Jenkins has just one more conference win than Hopson and just as many losses to Parsons' team. if POY was just for being the conference's leading scorer that'd be one thing to give to Jenkins but really that's all he does for his team. he's not a very good defender. he doesn't hit the boards. Sorry but when 5'6 Erving Walker gets as many boards as you in fewer minutes you're aren't a good rebounder. Moreover he doesn't set up teammates and has a negative A/T ratio.

we all know POY tends to go to the most outstanding player on one of the best teams in the conference. Parsons fits the bill averaging 14, 9 and 4 in SEC play. With his 50% field goal percentage he could have scored more if he was on a less balanced offensive team.
