For whoever that cares. I noticed a poster a couple of weeks ago who was wondering where Loftons name went on the roster. Just talked to Chris and he said he was back on the team now and was only nursing an injury. D league is strange because I've noticed other players getting hurt and being dropped off the roster.

So, I guess the announcement his agent made today that Lofton is on his way to Russia later this week was inaccurate.

Just spoke with him earlier today and thats what he told me. Not sure how the D League contracts are. Maybe he's going back to play a couple of games then heading to Russia? Hadn't heard anything about Russia

lol. It was.....no one because talking to ex basketball players that can't make the league really boost your cool points up on a message board.

But honestly, yeah. I talked to Chris and thats what he told me. Thats why I asked when the deal went through.

I wonder if Lofton will do what Backy Hammon did and join the Russian Olympic team. I actually wouldn't mind seeing that.

I can't figure out why Lofton doesn't get a crack at the league. They are always looking for shooters. Shooting 43% from 3 pt in D-league while the NBA average is 35.5%.

I always hoped he would but not sure thats ever going to happen. The Russia deal is a really nice one though so I hope he does well. Lofton is a really nice guy. When he played for UT, everytime I seen him in public he was always really nice and polite. I chatted with him a lot when he was overseas and even had a jersey made from his Turkish team. Needless to say he left like the following week so it was pointless lol.

And it's posters like you that are @ssholes. I only shared my info because I know theirs tons of Lofton fans, like myself, that post here and want to know how his career is going. It just so happens that deal went official after I talked to him & honestly, I dont give two sh1ts what anyone thinks. Anybody can check my post since I've been here. Ive never spoke of any ungodly claims or had sources. I never have info thats new to anybody or anything like that. All I do is post on the team with opinions so If I started making claims, I'm sure I could come up with something better than an ex basketball player so go to hell :thumbsup:

I for one am a Chris Lofton Fan and thanks for the info. It does seem like some people on this forum try and figure out how they can cut down each poster who has anything to say. Don't sweat it. Just ignore the idiots. The ones who choose to bash probably have peckers the size of pencil erasers and feel it necessary to compensate for their "little" setback in life by talking down to others. Most people here are great people though. Thanks for the update on the best shooter to wear the orange and white... GBO

That person would have been ME! I found it odd that he would be removed from the roster just for an injury. I hadn't never noticed that before. The D-League is strange in how they handle this.

Anyhow, I just noticed Lofton is heading to Russia. He's getting more mula(NBA league minimum) and that was the seal to the deal. I hope we can see Chris get a chance in the NBA someday. He's good enough of a 3-pt specialist to make a roster. :good!:
