The really attractive number here is the over. O139 is the pick. This is a huge game for both squads, so I expect to see the starters playing more minutes here. The game will get a little sloppy on defense and there should be plenty of offensive fireworks on both sides. An 80-something to 70-something game is the expectation.

The only concern I have is the odd way games are typically officiated in Rupp. If the refs let them play, game goes over no problem. If it gets too slow with whistles blowing all game, it'll be tough to watch and free throws will decide the total - which makes it tough to score 70 points.

I would think the refs will have been given the proper incentives to have a dramatic game in Rupp on Super Tuesday for ESPN. After all, this is Pearl and Cal above anything else. The commentators will somehow fit a basketball game in there somewhere.

Over is probably right. I doubt UK's frosh have bought in to playing D--yet, but they can score. Side note: free throws are scored with the clock stopped---so that really becomes a moot point. Lots of totals go over with the fouling at the end.
