VCU defeated Winthrop 67-54 and Wake Forest 90-69 to reach the Garden. The are known for their up-tempo, pressing style of play. They force several turnovers and average 10 steals per game. Will be a real test for our poor ball handling team.

Leading scorers are Joey Rodriguez at 18.3 PPG, Bradford Burgess (17), and Brandon Rozzell (16.3). Leading rebounder is Jamie Skeen with 6.7 RPG.

They shoot 39% from three and 59% from the FT line.

This will be a very tough test, very good mid major program. Time to step up in the Big Apple.
