| Why would Pearl lie to the NCAA?
Does it seem to anyone else from the facts that have come to light thus far that he might be protecting his stud recruiter?
Knowing that Hamilton would not tolerate cheating, and would want to make a strong statement with termination even though the NCAA would not find the illegal cell phones a major violation, he covered up for his assistant?
It absolutely does not excuse him, but it does make sense a bit more of the situation.
If Fulmer knew he was about to lose Rodney Garner in 1996 would he have lied if he thought he could protect him and not get caught?
By the way, for those who know any part of the inside scoop, Phillip Fulmer as UTAD will not keep us out of NCAA trouble unless he can keep finding evidence about our bigger rivals. |

| Hamilton is obviously pretty bad at patrolling his athletic department seeing as the NCAA is living on UT's front door step as we type. | |

No indication previously that Pearl or Raleigh would be anything other than squeaky clean, but if BOT guys need an excuse to say he should have known better, Kiffin and coach rah rah give them all they need. | |

Everyone keeps reaching for some logical explanation while the actual answer is slapping them in the face. You lie until you can't lie anymore, its not like he is different than 90% of the coaches at other programs who engage in the same activities.
