I think 13 is a tad too high. Hopson/Tatum have to be huge this year.

Tatum has a chance to take a big step. I only see Hopson being marginally better, if at all. Also, Melvin Goins has a chance to take a big step this year. I'm impressed by what I've seen of him in the RTL.

I'm just concerned about one thing: The big bucket. Who we going to when we are down 4, with 3:00 to go, UK is on a run, the crowd is going crazy and we need a bucket here. Last year, it was Wayne. Who is it this year? Harris, Tatum, Hopson, Goins? That's my biggest concern.

Good. Because quite honestly, I don't expect too much of Hopson.

My opinion is that Harris or Tatum will be the one taking that shot.

I could see it being Goins. Won't know about Harris until he's here.

I thought Maze really helped out Chism with the timely basket thing. In fact, that's pretty much where half of Maze's points would come from.

I see no one player that would take that shot. However, we have several that could be an option depending on the circumstances.

I say it'd be Tatum "the shot" early on in the season, though I could see Harris doing it by the end

Unfortunately, I'm afraid Hopson will try to be that guy, but I'm not sure he's who we want in that situation.

You could just as easily posted the Mich. State Elite Eight game. Hopson is not a clutch player.

Come on Law, if he lucked up and hit one clutch shot, he has to be the man! Forget about all the other screw-ups he provided for us last year.

Yea Georgia....Fox has made a huge difference for their program already....and I'm pretty sure they beat us last year....they will be pretty good this year IMO

OK, so who has proved to be more clutch on this team?

No one has emerged this year because last year the ball went to Prince and Chism for big buckets. It's amazing that Hopson hits one shot against UF, and all of a sudden he's a late game specialist.

I'd rather give the ball to Tobias Harris, Tatum, or Goins before Hopson in a late game situation.

I agree with LawVol.....I don't want Hopson to have the ball in a late game situation

Ironic that you think Harris will be that guy but not Hopson. Is it because Harris is a McDonald's All-American??

Hopson is one of the most disappointing players IMO...he has not lived up to being, if I remember correctly, the number 9 prospect coming out of HS
