Vols vs. Furman

Hey guys. I saw that the Vols are playing Furman in Greenville, SC tomorrow night at 7, and I'm excited to get out and see them play. They'll be at little Fenway, Fluor Field, in which the field is an exact replica of Fenway, Green Monster and all. It looks to be a nice night and hopefully the sound of metal Vol bats will be ringing through the night. Go Vols!!!!!

Hopefully this will be our streak buster. Furman has a decent record though... Anyway. Go Vols!

No audio for this game. I wonder if the live stats will be working?

Maybe they can get it going in time for the SC series and then the SECs

That's asking a lot, but anything is possible.

Had a great time at the game last night. Lots of Vol fans were there. We brought a group of 20 friends and family, 13 of which were decked out in TN orange. My 4-year-old and his friends had a blast. And, of course, we sang/shouted Rocky Top around the 8th inning and even got a "woooo" from the dugout (which we were sitting right next to). Good time.

I don't really keep up with Furman, but here's some stats:

They're tied for 3rd in the Southern Conference (1-AA) with an overall record of 29-21. Against Div. 1 schools:
Clemson 0-2 (destroyed both times)
SC 1-1 (close to being 2-0, not bad)
TN 0-2
TN was their 6th loss in a row so they're slumping right now.
