| The guys fought hard last night, and when Hernandez gave up the Carroll homer, he was able to settle down unlike last weekend vs. Vanderbilt.
I saw many positives out of our team last night, the pitchers just can't give up a big inning like they did in the 8th.
Now with Simunic gone, it will be interesting to see if P.J. Polk will play well in the lead-off role. He's got a lot of upside to him, and has remarkable power for such a skinny guy.
Vols should do fine with Morgado on the hill today. I believe his 2/3 against Belmont helped him figure some things out, and today's situation is one he loves to be in.
Not time to call Tennessee toast just yet. |
