I'm just saying I've heard several sources with ties within the organization saying he's in trouble and several of them claiming a lot of insiders are essentially calling him an idiot.
What do the insiders know about college baseball? Because whatever it was, they don't have a track record like Todd Raleigh does.

record for longest discussion about UT baseball in the history of UT baseball? I think this thread has it.

See, Raleigh has already raised UT baseball popularity on Volnation.

whoo hoo. Raleigh did a good job in the Southern Conference. That's small potatoes compared to SouthEASTern Conference baseball. You're acting like he's been guiding Texas, Miami or Cal State Fullerton all this time.

Ha, while you act like your athletic department insiders have accomplished so much. I'm sure Raleigh's success in the SouthCo outshines anything your friend's have done.

It all depends on what you consider success. But to act like Raleigh is the best thing since sliced bread is ridiculous

No one is, we just trust the judgement of someone who's won a D-I conference title over some grad student who guided a team to a little league title or some know-it-all athletic department employee.

it also amazes how so many are so quick to come in and defend Raleigh even though truth be told we all know very little about him. For what it's worth, I probably defended him more than anyone else during the season. I'm just telling you what my friends around the game and with connections to UT baseball have told me. I find it comical that so many want to pretend they don't know anything, even though you have no idea what their connections to the game of baseball are. Most on here don't know me, nor do they know what I'm currently doing to make a living. I don't have to divulge that part of my personal life, but let's say I meet more people around collegiate and professional baseball daily than just about anyone on here. Save perhaps OrangeWilly i think.

This is going to be his second season. If the alleged "jerk factor" becomes more public (a la Rod Delmonico) or if he just proves to be a loser on the field, things will change, but as of now, not sure why you're so surprised. Plus, again, I don't see all these posters acting like he's "the best thing since sliced bread."

acting like Raleigh has a great track record because his Western Carolina team did well in the Southern Conference outshines anything else my friends and connections may know was why I referenced that. Also in so many previous threads about Raleigh, several posters have defended him as if he's pure genius.

I'm just telling you what the people I know are saying. Obviously I don't know Hamilton, but I know several people in just about all aspects of the collegiate and professional ranks in baseball. But go ahead, believe they don't know anything, I don't care. I was just alerting the masses.

Please point out where I said Raleigh has a great track record? I just pointed out that, unless these people you associate with are named LaRussa and Cox, are probably far less accomplished than Raleigh.

I've never seen anyone defend him like he's pure genius, sorry, you're going to have to show me those several posters that apparently have posted this way.

and I never said you did. You just decided that my friends and colleagues around the game know nothing. You incorrectly assumed they are either grad students or "know it all athletic department employees". But thanks for acting like you know who i know. Makes it fun for playing.

Again, never said that. Just working with common sense, which tells me that if the guys you knew were so grand, why are they not coaching at Texas, Miami, or CSF?

So because they don't coach at Texas, Miami or CSF they don't know what people are saying about Raleigh? Let's keep with your common sense and use some here.

Winning the SoConference is weak but your anonymous guys deserve to be treated like Branch Rickey on an internet message board.
