Coaches future As a former player and 1st time poster I wanted to give my opinion on the new coach. I was confused when he was hired. We are Tennessee and we could've got a top notch coach with this hire. Someone who has a track record of consistancy and a winning background. Names that come to mind are Jim Sclossnagle(TCU), Jim Toman(Liberty),former assistant Larry Simcox and former assistant and current head coach Dave Serrano(CS Fullerton). With Coach Serrano being maybe the best man for the job. All he has done since leaving Tennessee years ago is win at the highest level. Live and learn!!!

I too was hoping for a Serrano hire but we got who we got...give him a few years and lets see how it all shakes out. Delmonico was a lot like Jerry Green in attitude and I am glad he is gone...

Raleigh deserves at least three years. He needs his own players. Look at the young talent in the OF. The future is bright.

To expect to beat Belmont/ETSU/Tenn Tech is not expecting too much.

For someone that "knows the game" you sure aren't paying attention to how UT beat Texas, the win that got everyone way too excited. |
