first ballgame of the year

Well I took in my first ballgame of the year last night. MS State played Memphis here at Autozone Park in downtown Memphis. Needless to say I didn't really have a dog in the fight to cheer for, but it was nice to get out and hear my first "PING" of the year. It's tough to follow the Vols on the diamond from here, but from some of the stuff I've read it looks like we are young but still decent. Mississippi State on the other hand looks pretty terrible. I will be on hand in Starkville for the series and I'm really really hoping the Vols can pull the 4 sport sweep(football, basketball(M & W), and baseball)!

Memphis is building their program. I know they got Todd Helton's cousin from Knox Central, he was a great athlete, and there are some others they've signed.
