| Gotta Understand What you got to realize about Divison 1 baseball, especially in the larger conferances such as the SEC and others is the fact that when you play mid week games everyone your playing is sky high to notch a win against you. Therefore, you will face the Number 1, 2 & 3 pitchers from the opposing teams and will be pitching your 5, 6 & 7. Their #1, 2 & 3's are as good as yours. Sure we UT makes errors, especially during the mid week and less when they really count in the division. Personally, I feel that when they play the line up they had against LSU and Florida last weekend, this team can hold it's on. The fact that Cody Brown, wasn't playing in last nights game may or may not have made a differance. My sources also tell me that Cody Grisham was being held out of last nights game due to some sort of foot injury. Both are expected to be ready by this weekend.

| I don't care who was pitching for them and UT, ETSU was 7-24. 7-24. This is UT. If you want to contend for championships, you can't be losing to 7-24 teams. |

It was known coming into the season, it was known this would be a down year when they hired Raleigh and it's why the coaches picked UT last in the SEC East. Quit thinking otherwise, you're just causing unneeded stress upon yourselves. It's going to take Raleigh two-three years before you can even start to be optimistic about Omaha. Give the man his time. |

It doesn't look that way now, but I still expect to see Vandy and USC battle it out for the crown. Kentucky and Georgia are also better than advertised and thus ending any hopes of the Vols winding up third in the East. I'm also assuming you meant our midweek non-conference opponents first and second guys are as good as UT's fourth/fifth/sixth guys. |

| Why this is meaningless:
1. The top 8 in the SEC make the SEC Tourny
2. You can pretty much write your ticket to a national regional if you make the SEC Tourny
3. ETSU isn't a SEC team |

| 4. UT made the SEC tourney and even beat the 1 seed, only to get left out of the regionals.
Bad losses like this can be the deal breaker if UT is on the bubble. |

| Sounds a lot like last year when we beat Vanderbilt in the tourney one game. |
